Alumni Meetings

The 2010 and 2011 Freiburg Forums on Environmental Governance also doubled as official meetings of the MEG alumni.  In both cases, funding was made available to bring the MEG alumni together to share their experiences and knowledge with each other and the current MEG generations.  MEG alumni from as far afield as Africa, Asia and South America, as well as alumni closer to the MEG program’s home in Freiburg, were able to attend. In addition to catching up with old friends, and making new ones, the MEG alumni played key roles in the running and organisation of the forums.  Such roles included reviewing forum content and shouldering the responsibility of facilitating forum discussions.
